I don't usually write reviews, but I had to after reading this. And the Stars Fell Silent was a great read! I had a hard time putting it down. Trinity Roberts does a great job of making you feel like you're in the dome. It was easy to relate to the characters and follow the story through the twists and turns (and there were many twists and turns). The plot was suspenseful, the characters were well developed, and I didn't want the story to end. This was a great debut for Trinity Roberts. I can't wait to read more of her work!

Do not usually leave reviews on books but this book was so different that I had to leave a review. I love the end of the world genre and have read so many I cannot even count how many. This plot was so original that I was impressed that I have not came across a similar plot before. I will be waiting for the second book for sure. For a first time author I was impressed.
I'm new to dystopian novels and this was just so intriguing and entertaining. I look forward to others in the series.

The plot and premise are unique and very timely.
I quit the book at 71%...I couldn't waste another minute on this unbelievable, ridiculous story!! You would think that the intelligence and masterminds that put together the life inside of a Dome would turn out to be an interesting and gripping description of a fine tuned society. This place sounded like skid row, hooker alley, and fight night all rolled into one. YET, everyone was screened and only the best of the best were chosen! Really??? The author had wonderful ideas of what her story would be but she went for unexplained and ridiculous drama that I found myself many times wondering if the story was about the people outside the Dome or inside. Apparently, the dregs of society made it inside before the sun burst!! What a big disappointment!
I like the idea of reading about a post apocalyptic world from the point of view of a young woman. I think the story has a great premise but it could use a little editing. There were quite a few grammatical errors which made the story hard to follow at times. The storyline was violent and fast-paced. I'm curious about the momentum for the next book. I'll definitely read the next installment and I'm hoping it only gets better from here.

Next installment Please !! Huge fan of all things "End of the World" themed movies and books. Read this in 2 days cuz I couldn't put in down. Love the bio-dome idea, really surprised this hasn't been done before. It has been done now, and quite well !! Loved the characters, loved the flow and especially the ending. Didn't see that coming! This new author has a bright future in front of her. Looking forward to the next installment. Only con about this book is I wished chapters had been longer. (I have never said that before) I identified immediately with the main character and lived the details word by word. Finally, the Byron woven through this book added a depth rarely seen by new writers. King would be impressed.
This is the first book that I've read by this author, and I can say I will be reading more. I like that the book breaks off from the main girls pov Skylar. It's a unique take on "The end of the world" as we know it. Basically, the world knows that the sun is about to disappear so they US starts building domes. The best dome is in Washington state, where the book takes place. The have to deal with over population, and only people with certain skills will be let into the dome. What's happens to the rest?? Well, take a moment to one click this enjoyable quick read, and find out just what happens when the the Sun no longer exists.
