Operation Oracle Merkiaari Wars Book 3 eBook Mark E Cooper
Ok, to begin? This series has it all - story, story, and story! Very engaging, great character and race building. Love it!The 4-star rating, however, is for editing. Elusive vs illusive, it's vs its, items like that. What is driving me most insane right now, and literally stopping me in my tracks every time I see it, is the author's abbreviation for Artificial Intelligence. Older style would have it "A.I." while newer usage allows easily for "AI". However, the usage in the book, consistently, is "A.I" with a period after A but not after I.
When I say this stops me in my tracks, reading, I'm not kidding! The mental Mumble begins with "Why? What was he thinking?!" then moved to "C'mon, just ignore it, move on!"

Operation Oracle Merkiaari Wars Book 3 eBook Mark E Cooper Reviews
I had stumbled upon Mark E Cooper Merkiaari books with his first release and have waited for every releas since, his books take you to these fascinating worlds that Mark has created, these books are not your standard e book fare you actually feel you should be paying more for his stories. He provides quality and substance with a high regard for the readers intelligence, another words unlike a lot of e book authors his work is polished and clean you do not fi d yourself trying g to figure out what he is trying to say because it has been edited. The tech is good the people are complex enough to make you believe they are real. There is substance between the pages so you get a feel for the back story as well. I recommend this author but I realy recommend this series.
I came across the first book as a Freebie, and decided to buy the rest. Good decision on my part! Loving them!
Anyways, as the war takes a short pause (as wars tend to do), the Vipers realize they need a little extra help in the brain department, and they build an AI. Like almost all the AIs before, this one doesn't work, so they have to go find the software to get the hardware to work.
Good, suspenseful action and realistic characters.
For a Sci-fi, space war reading person, this book it very entertaining and fun to read. If you like the books that feature Master Chief and his Spartans, then you'll enjoy this series as well. I enjoyed the main characters as they were individuals who each held different beliefs but work towards the same goal. An old crusty veteran Viper who accomplishes his mission no matter the cost and then the newly minted veteran soldier who is a new Viper and still puts her soldiers lives and welfare before hers or the missions. They work well together and make one heck of a team. The story stars off good and picks up fast action then dies down for a while before it picks back up and finishes strong. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. Thank you Mr. Cooper, it's a good storyline you have here.
I liked this book, but I didn't think it was quite as good as the previous two in the series. The editing seemed a little less professional to me than the first two, and the storylines seemed to switch back and forth more rapidly. I think I preferred the slower focus of the first two. I also thought that some of the characters were acting in ways that weren't consistent with what I expected from them based on the first two books. For example, in the second book, the aliens seemed alien. The thoughts tyhey expressed and the way they said things seemed slightly off to me - so they seemed alien. In this book, however, I found the aliens talking just like humans and using human slang and phrases. Not really consistent with what was presented in the last book. Still, it was a good read, and I'm glad I bought it. As soon as the fourth book is published, I'll buy that one too. What other positive comment matters?
I ran across Mark E Cooper's Merkiaari War books in my recommendations and downloaded the sample. I was hooked and purchased the all three books after that. I have enjoyed all three and I'm looking forwarded to more to come. If you are a fan of David Web or John Ringo you will feel right at home.
I've noticed some reviews complaining about the editing in the book. Here's a thought enjoy the book and quit your whining. Not everyone breaking into the industry can afford to have their books professionally edited and published. Instead of complaining why don't you try to help the indie authors out, and then one day they may have those editors available to them. I am immensely thankful their are people out their like Mark Cooper who are working to publish and share their work with us. I understand it is a tough road and hats off the authors who are doing it. I also appreciate for being a place where these authors can introduce their books to the world. It is refreshing to have a venue to see new authors. I am finding myself drawn to the self published indie authors. They offer new content, great stories that don't follow the cookie cutter trend, and some really great ideas. Thanks to all of them and to Mr. Cooper for his great series.
Another winner book in this series. The plotlines are good and not necessarily predictable. I particularly like the way the author develops the various alien species. Many authors paint too simplistic a picture of species that are clearly like humans but mentally, physically, and morally inferior. Cooper’s are very different and the reader may draw his or her own conclusions as to what to think of them. Some of their characteristics are interesting and others are humorously entertaining. And the humans also are not completely predictable although true to their individual character types. I continue to enjoy the series immensely..
