This book reminds me a lot of clan of the cave bear. Very easy to read and nice story line.

I agree with the reviewers who call this a Clan of the Cave Bear knock-off--but so what? There are lots of them out there, and most aren't this good. This book was a fun read, despite the unanswered questions, like why Kia was alone when she found Peta and Ara, or how old Peta was at the beginning. My only real problem was the sex, when if finally occurred, which was too close to rape for my comfort. It was completely unnecessary for the author to write it that way, which made the whole thing confusing to me.
