I first want to say how amazing the writing in this book was. I was blown away. I loved the story, I loved the humor, I loved the romance and I feel in love with Ben and Prudence. I mean how could you not.

Prudence and Ben's love story was refreshing and real and enduring. I loved how you saw Ben just fall head over heals for her. I loved that he completely took over her life and didn't make an excuse to just hang out with Prudence. OH Ben, he was down right perfect. (Man Bun) Just sent this book to the top of my list. But seriously..How could he say things like..

“I don’t need to read the whole book, Prudence, to know how I feel about it. I knew you were the one ever since I read the first chapter..” and not have me swooning...

But Prudence I think was the jewel of this story. Hilaria wrote her character so well. She was smart and witty and so funny..I completely loved her bluntness, and how she could not stop her filter. I loved the way things just feel out of her mouth. I loved her passions, her stubbornness and just by reading you could tell her insides were just as amazing as what she looked like on the outside.

Great book... Definitely a must read:) Can I say one more time how much I loved her writing.

I LOVED it!!! I am traditionally a crime/horror/mystery reader. I was very much out of my element, but the simple cover and title grabbed my attention. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the genuineness of Prudence and the surprising depth of Ben. The author does SUCH a wonderful job with the verbal imagery of love scenes between them! The tension, the uncertainty then finally...gratification. After finishing this story I was left with such a feeling of love and hope, not in a corny way, but a deep sense of happiness for the characters. I want an invite to the wedding!!! hahaha
First, I one-clicked "This Love", and when I finished that book, I just sat and smiled. After a wee bit, I one-clicked "Prude". After finishing, I am still just smiling!

Thank you, Hilaria, for letting me live in your imagination for a wee while. I can't wait for your next book, and I promise to one-click that one too....
This book was really good! Ben & Prude were great main characters. I was trying to connect the dots throughout and didn't see the "truth" coming! The chemistry between characters, the steam, and the banter were spot on! It was a really enjoyable read. ) I also loved the hints towards Hilaria's next book, This Love!
What I loved about this book was that the characters are a little older than usual (30yo), and you actually get to read their story begin and watch it develop. It's a smart, fun and sexy romance with very little angst. The plot line is fairly realistic, the happy ending is sweet without being sappy. And bonus points the female protagonist is a writer, so it's really a book about books!
This book was so hard to put down! I loved everything about it, from beginning to end--the relationship is very realistic and I felt for the characters every step of the way.

Also, Ben's a hot nerd.

Edit I really love this couple. I just reread it for a second time, and got a little teary at some parts. And, being a nerd, this is probably my favorite line

What do you get when you cross a writer struggling to be true to herself and a hot literary agent - a steamy HEA that will have you cheering them on until the end. This story hooked me early on with a When Harry Met Sally reference and just got better from there. I loved how much music played a part in Prudence's writing process. Ben was a sweetheart and you wanted him to succeed in getting the love he deserved. This was my first time reading a book by Ms. Alexander, but it certainly won't be my last.
This is the second story from this author in the last 2 days and it won’t be the last. I liked Prude and Ben,the book had a lot of aspects of how to write a book and it was very interesting. Prude changed during her story. She steps out of her comfort zone and turns her style if writing around. While she has Bens encouragement he hides the fact he’s not really helping her find a new publisher after all and his been buying time so she can come back. This creates a problem but at the end we get a beautiful HEA.
